Membership
Being a Westmark member has its advantages!
Westmark Credit Union is a full service consumer financial cooperative.
That means you, as a member, have an equal share of ownership in the credit union.
To qualify for membership, you must be one of the following:
- Employed by or retired from one of our several hundred Member Firms, employer groups, or associations.
- A blood relative of a current Westmark member.
- Employed in one of twenty-seven counties in Eastern and Western Idaho.
To become a member, a qualified candidate must open a Primary Savings Account
(Share Suffix 00) and deposit a minimum of $25.00.
The minimum $25.00 deposit must be maintained in Primary Savings at all times to
receive the advantages of membership, including voting for Board of Directors and
the use of Westmark products and services. (A member must be 16 years of age or older to vote).
